I had undertaken this trip way back in September 2018 with my batchmate and friend Anuj. This trip was a long time coming; I had been planning and waiting for an opportune weekend and as luck would have it, while casually talking to Anuj about the excursion I was planning, he expressed his desire to come along. Who was I to not let him! After all, it takes two to tango. The plan initially was to travel to Jaisalmer (referred to as JSM henceforth) by train but as a result of it being overbooked, we took the road route.
